the rhinos are alot cheaper if you buy of them direct and order 5 pairs minimum.me and a few friend's all chipped in an we each got a pair each for 110 euro's.rather than get something to see you through only to buy them next year anyhow.
Didn't know you could go direct. Interesting.

Tufo's Flexus range are pretty good, the Flexus Cubus being the mud tub. They're pretty supple and hard as nails too, but they're almost as expensive as Rhinos.

The satndard Cubus are only 60tpi I think so probably don't ride too great at lower pressures.

I'm using Vittoria Evo XM's and so far so good. I got them for £36 each from Ribble, but I can't see them anywhere at the moment. The new ones look very good - they're up to 320tpi (from 290) and they use a softer compound. Again, not seen them anywhere yet though.

Veonews did a pretty handy review of all the tubs from Challenge, Dugast and Tufo http://www.velonews.com/article/85785
I think the decent width ones are the same price as Rhinos aren't they? No point getting 28mm ones.

i didn't personally order them but on the site it seems pretty straight forward, but as i say the lad who ordered them for us said to get the cheap price you had to order 5 pairs
following that article that Andy quotes, I got some Challenge Fangos as an all-round/mud tub and have to say, really impressed. They claim to be a mud tub but the nobbles are lower and a fraction less aggressive than Rhinos, but that makes them a really good allrounder. Have found myself using them more in slightly damp or mixed conditions than my Grifos as they hold on to off-cambers much better. a bit cheaper than Cubus at Zepnat too.
