UCI ban Sven Nyes Dugast tyres !!!!!!
Looks like the UCI has banned some special Dugast tubs made for the Belgian to use in the worlds this weekend. they had steel spikes in them for the icy conditions !!!!!

Yes - I'd seen this on the net somewhere. Sounds about right really - cross is a contact sport at times and I wouldn't want those spikes going through me on a crowded first lap.

Any pics of the tires? Have you guys seen the winter norco tires? they have these removable little metal numbs for traction. They work really well but they are heavy.

Dugast are going to be selling these tubs called 'Diablo' but no price as yet

UKCyclocross is simply here for you. It's not-for-profit, and there's no joining fee, and never will be. I've set it up because I wasnt to make the most of the community I see out there at the weekend races and give them a place on the www that people can post their own content to easily.
