Waddow Hall exceeded my expectations as a venue, both Alan (crossjunkie) & I had been to the Hall, Alan with work & me dropping my daughter off for a DofE weekend, and both thought mm could be a good cross venue. Cue conversation with Alan "hey Waddow Hall looks a good........... yep I thought the same" this was back in the summer.

Last night we had the final meeting with the Becky from Waddow Hall, it has been a pleasure woking with her as she is very supportive and really keen to see cross coming to Waddow.

The courses we are putting together should give everybody something to smile about, lots of space to overtake, tarmac sections, grass, flowing downhills, all set in some of the best countryside in the world : )

As part of the CSP cx race we are having a ladies only race to start the day off in style and Alan (crossjunkie) & I have been putting on some training to help newbies and ladies find their feet/pedals etc.

Sunday morning we were at Townley Park Burnley and 9 ladies turned up for two hours of cx training.

This morning Alan (crossjunkie) and I headed off on a beautiful autumn morning over to Waddow Hall to finalise how the courses will run on the 15th.

What awaited us was stunning inversions, mist, pheasants and deer, Waddow is simply a stunning venue. see @crossjunkie photos on twitter.

the courses will offer something for everyone, lung busting climbs, steps, single track descents, off cambers and nice downhill sections.

for the U10 & U8 they can race in full view of…

We should have a fantastic venue this year for the CSP CX race, Waddow Hall at Clitheroe offers some great facilities, including hot refreshments and hose pipes for post race bike washing.
