You'll find it hard not to clash with Road stuff at Preston / Scale Hall / Sport City races but that's life.  I'd love to chip in with organising but I have really struggled to get a decent venue round here. Work in progress. 

 

Would be good to use the Yorkshire model and have them a lot cheaper if you're not planning on prizes.

that's true Dave but I am wondering how many cx riders do the crits etc and would love to have a few races over summer to keep their hand in?

if we look at just prizes for the series 3 of the 4 to count then it would be cheaper to enter and make them top 5 only - I have approached a sponsor who is initially very interested in providing prizes.

WEst Craven school are keen for us to return next year and i think we may be able to have at least one there Alan and I are looking at a new venue next week which could be absolutely stunning, they are keen to be involved but we will have to see if we could hold a summer event there as well as a winter one.

talking to riders most don't seem to bothered about winning a prize beyond top 3 or 5 so hopefully this will help organisers as prize funds can be crippling

manchester madness mtb runs each summer 6 races this year boggart,clayton,chorlton,was run by bcf

next year to be run by local clubs and you can enter on a cross bike
