Dear UK Cyclocross readers.
SpectaCross.com has suddenly seen an upswing of traffic from the U.K., and we believe it's mostly from the readers of UK Cyclocross following an article it ran our upcoming "SpectaCross" at the New Jersey State Fair. The exchange rate isn't as good as it was last summer, but it's still fairly inexpensive to fly to the U.S. if you want to come and race with us on 31 July and 1 August -- and it's only an hour away from Newark International Airport, which is where the majority of flights from the UK to New York land.
If you're interested, you can race for free of course, and we also have a couple of beds available in the cabins of a local campground that we've rented for officials and staff for the weekend that we'd gladly give to U.K. or European riders. It's a non-sanctioned race, so you don't even have to worry about international licensing. And, if you're from Eastleigh or Southampton, I might even make you a special deal, partly because my wife is from Eastleigh and partly in compensation for your football team (who else gets relegated right after opening a state-of-the-art stadium?).
Contact me at KenG@SpectaSport.com or ring me up at 011-01-610-397-1950. My office is in my home, so the 5 hour time difference won't matter too much if you want to phone me.
Ken Getchell
