Personally I'd base it on whether or not the FRMs are worth the extra £100 in the first place rather than them being tubeless compatible. You could convert the standard wheels to tubeless easily enough for about £50 if you wanted to, but if the FRMs are a big step up and can do both then it might not be a bad idea. I'd bet they're quite a bit lighter, which is always nice!
In my experience tubeless isn't quite there yet, and it probably won't ever get to the stage of replacing tubulars for 'proper' racing, but it's certainly worth trying, particularly if you don't want the hassle and expense of tubs but want something better than standard tyres.

Hi Lee, just needed some advice on tubeless wheels,
Cheers,
Clive
Hi Lee, Dave Haygarth thought you could probably help with this.
Are tubless wheelsets any good for cyclocross ?
I am buying a 'dirty disco' & it comes with on one's own clincher wheelset.
For £100 more i could have some FMB tubeless wheels (vastly reduced in price) which i am told can still run a tube & tyre set up.
So, is it worth the £100 extra to have the option of running tubeless now or when they are improved.
Thanks & regards,
Clive
